We, Gavel Supporters, is a non-profit organization that supports “Gavel Club”, an independence support program of Toastmasters, the world’s largest educational NPO.
Gavel Club
“Gavel Club” is a community contribution program of Toastmasters International, for individuals who for some reason cannot be a regular member of Toastmasters Club. Gavel Club specifically targets people who do not have income or those who are in correctional facilities.
Currently, Gavel Supporters focuses on providing training support in job placement for inmates in criminal detention facilities in and out of Tokyo. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, from 19:30 to 21:00, at the Saitama City Complex Public Facility Comunale on the 9th floor(same building as Urawa PARCO).
Gavel Supporters is run by volunteers and is not associated with any particular religious or political groups.
